The Cost . . .
The cost of a six-month, baker’s dozen (13 issues) subscription is just $10. It can be purchased through our Shopping Cart like our other products, or it can be mailed or faxed to us.
How It Works . . .
When we receive your Subscription, your name is entered on a mail list just for A.Muse.ings. On publication Fridays (See List Below), you will be emailed an announcement of the new publication and a link to the A.Muse.ings Access Page, where you will be able to Download the newest issue - and also have access to all past issues of the current Subscription period - just in case.
What if someone subscribes part way through the 6 months?
Someone who discovers us and subscribes sometime during the Subscription period will still pay the full $10 and will be able to accesss and download all 13 issues of that subscription.
Renewal. . .
When the new Subscription period begins (January 2006), you will be reminded to resubscribe. All issues of the previous Subscription period will be removed from the website and burned onto a CD - which will be available for $10. This means that newcomers can always get back issues, and that you can give a previous Subscription as a gift on CD.
Copyright . . .
Printing a copy of A.Muse.ings for yourself is so much easier than with our web-based magazine and newsletter. You can print all the pages with one print command because you are dealing with a PDF file and not using browser software which can only deal with one page at a time. And you are granted permission to print as many copies as you need for yourself - i.e. maybe you want one copy at the office for coffee breaks, and one at home in the studio for reference, and one in a special binder where you are keeping your pages as well.
However, printing copies for other people, sharing the Access Page link with non-subscribers, and redistributing or republishing in any manner is a breach of the law, of our copyright, and of conscience. Those types of activities undermine the ability of affordable publications like this to continue, and we all want them to continue!
