All About Cre8it

Cre8it.com is a spin off of Gallery Different, a mixed media art gallery we had for nine years in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Our extreme interest in mixed media led us naturally to more and more involvement in the world of what we call “art stamping” and paper arts - as we created pieces for the gallery, wholesaled them to other galleries around the country, and taught classes at our “Non-Artist’s Art School”.

Eventually (all good ideas take awhile), we realized that some of our projects and some of the materials we had discovered in our search for the “different” would make good art materials for other artists,and Cre8it! was born.

In the spirit of furthering the exciting new directions taking shape in multi-media art, we have begun publishing the online-only zine, “Now What?” which you will be able to read on our site monthly (free of charge).

OnLine Shopping Cart
Of course, the easiest way to shop with us is through our Secure Shopping Cart. Your credit card number and order never “go out” onto the internet. When you type in your info for us, you are actually putting it in a protected section of our host computer. To read your order, we must log on to that computer with a series of special passwords. We then read your order and print it, and delete it. Your information is never emailed, so it can't be intercepted.Your charge will then be processed through our real world credit card terminal. Your credit card statement will show Gallery Different, not Cre8it because that is the name of our mother company.We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Nova credit cards. We also accept payment via PayPal (see below).

By Mail or Fax:
You may place your order by Mail or Fax using a credit card number or check (mail). Just use the Shopping Cart to compile your order, and choose “Display Order Form” under Offline Ordering at checkout. Print the Order Form and fill in your shipping and credit card information, then fax or mail it.

By Phone:

PayPal:
We do accept non-credit card PayPal payments, but they must be processed outside the Shopping Cart. So, if you wish to use PayPal for your order, proceed as follows: Process your order through the Shopping Cart and print out a copy. We will be notified of your order automatically. Then email us that you are paying by PayPal. Here is the PayPal email address to use: wesolek@aol.com We will ship your order as soon as PayPal notifies us that your payment has been made.

Because our items are mostly small and lightweight, and because we like the 2-3 day thing, our shipping is done by Priority Mail. This method is also the most cost-effective for these size packages.

Our current shipping rates are based on the total of your order. We have a base charge of $3.85 which covers the base Priority Mail charge. 2.5% of the order total is added on top of that base charge. This might amount to just a few cents, but it helps defray the cost of getting the packages to the Post Office. Because the Shopping Cart is not human and must be told what to do,we have tried many shipping models and this one seems to come closest to covering our expenses (on average) and remaining reasonable for you.

HOWEVER, PLEASE NOTE:
Recent changes in Postal Rates for Priority Mail have made it much more complicated (and more expensive) to send a package between 1 and 5 lbs that does not fit in a Flat Rate Envelope. Rates now vary widely by Zone. If your order falls into this category, adjusted shipping will be charged to cover the actual cost and the new total will be reflected on the invoice included in your package.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:
Your charge will be adjusted to reflect the actual cost of Global Priority mailing or airmail if the order does not fit into Flat Rate packaging.

Your order will usually be shipped in 1-2 days. There may be a delay if we have run out of something and have to make it, or if we out of town doing a show.

Shopping Cart shipping charges refer only to Domestic Shipping. Shipping to other countries will be adjusted to cover the costs.

Products may be returned for a refund if they get back to us in exactly the same condition as they left us. Shipping is not refundable and you must pay for return shipping. We suggest also that you insure the package for the amount of your refund in case it is lost. We do not issue refunds on any item we do not get back in great condition.

Refunds will be issued by company check, not credit card refunds. There's a very good reason for this. Credit card companies charge merchants a percentage of every sale made with their card. What most people do not know is that they charge that percentage again when a refund is issued to the card. The merchant accepting the return is out a double percentage on a sale that didn't happen. So we issue our refunds by check.

We are crazy people when it comes to protecting our own privacy, and we will extend that protection to yours. We will share your information with NO ONE.
