Shades are prescored and prefolded with a notch cut for the cord of the Lamp Guts to pass through, and a tab for connecting the shade in the back.

The base measures 3" x 3" and is 1.5" in height. It is made specially for us of high quality 1/8" clear acrylic. While sturdy enough to hold the cordset in place, it is small anough to fit into just about anything you want to light up (even a jack-o-lantern at Halloween!)

If the space is big enough that heat is not a problem, you may use any chandelier base bulb in this fixture. They are now manufactured all the way from Christmas tree type bulbs - all the way up to 60 watts.We do not recommend that bright a light with a luminaria, however, since the art or design would get bleached out by that bright a backlight and papers can warp from too much heat.

The shade is made of Sheer Heaven, coffee, Prismacolor pencils, wire and real coffee beans. The cappucino in the cups was actually painted with cappucino.
