My Artist Journal has brought more creative joy to my life than anything else I can think of.
What is an Artist Journal? There are many definitions, but here's what my journal is to me:
It is a treasured book - celebrating the moments in my life that would otherwise be forgotten. I keep my completed volumes handy and “read” them over and over.
It is an ongoing exercise in observation and visual thinking. I am always scanning my surroundings for the interesting detail that makes the moment memorable.
It is an interactive coloring and creative play book that is always there to provide entertainment - on even the dullest day. There is no rule to finish a page in one setting, so there is always something to go back to and work on.
It is a place to explore the new ideas and new art supplies that constantly come into my life.
It is the muse that gently makes sure I have at least a small “art date” with myself every day.
The idea of this workshop is to share the ongoing delight of art journaling with you . . .

The Guide has the Links to all the Video Lessons, and has a Gallery section with sample pages for each lesson - done by earlier students of this workshop.
The Instructor is available for email questions, should you need assistance, and there is a Yahoo Group of former students where you can share and get inspiration.

Our videos are now downloadable, so you can keep a copy for yourself on your computer and watch it without being online. Our videos will play in Quicktime and iTunes - also free and available for PC and Mac (from apple.com).
