Everytime I clicked......WOW! I'm going to do the lesson over & over again so it will embed itself into my grey matter......If I don't use it, I lose it!

Now I'm crying over all the photos I thought were un-recoverable & tossed!

I love this class and have recommended it to several friends and both my sisters. You are a wonderful teacher and have a very clear and helpful way of describing everything so it is easy to understand. I'm only half way through and already feeling much more confident of the new, used camera I bought after week 3.

Just wanted you to know how much I've enjoyed these lessons. You have a wonderful way of explaining everything and are so patient in making sure we all "GET" it! My camera is now my friend. Before your course, it was a mysterious intimidating black box. Because it is a very nice camera, I often got nice pics but had no ability to plan or control the outcome.

I want to get in the car and go someplace and take pictures. - Linda

I think you are doing a fabulous job with all of us at different
levels and having different cameras, etc. I am so appreciative of having a whole week to learn a new step, for me that's a real plus. When I got that frozen water photo I felt like a miracle worker - I was so totally excited. Never thought I could do anything like that! - Laurie

I am so enjoying your class. I have taken photos since I was a kid with my first camera - a Brownie Hawkeye - but I have never really known what I was doing. I'm feeling a lot more competent now (and the class is only half over - think of the monster you'll have created by the end). - Darlene

This class is exactly what I hoped it would be. True, I discovered that the camera I had wasn't quite up to the class, but before taking the class I knew nothing about photography except point and shoot, so had no idea what I needed. I think you have a way of making potentially confusing things simple to understand. I am looking forward to taking more classes with you. - Sherry

Now here's something. Remember that picture of herbs I posted for the still-life--the 3 baby herbs in the crusty tin containers? Well, I also put them on my Flickr page and I just got an email with a permission request attached from someone who is publishing a book of culinary herbs and wants to use MY picture in it!

And I owe you, Jessica. Without all your good instruction, advice, and encouragement I would never have gotten that photo as well as a lot of others I am taking. I loved the course and can't wait for the next one. - Meredith
