We think one of the best things about holding our Retreat at Sunrise Springs is the fabulous Studio Building we have all to ourselves. It has everything we need to work and play in comfort.

We have set Saturday day and evening as “Open Studio Workshop” time. That means that your instructors are there for help and guidance in choosing and creating your components, using all the tools and supplies that will be available to you, and answering any and all questions that come up. However, you will not be a “classroom captive”. You may come and go as you please and make as many or as few components as you want for your creativity chain.
The Willows is our studio for the weekend - right next to the “lake”, it even has tables outside for taking breaks.

Attendees are free to come and go as they wish.

We will use our studio building all day and evening for a free-form, open studio where we will create as many of the components (learned in Friday’s workshops) as we wish in order to express ourselves in our own Creativity Chain.

There will be lots of sample chains “hanging around” for you to examine.

Free Form means that you come and go as you please, sit and work with whomever you wish and have the opportunity for lots of one-on-one time with your Instructors who will be in the Open Studio except for Lunch and Dinner breaks (see times below). We will be at your disposal as you create and assemble these beautiful chains - offering mini-demos as necessary in case we all forget what we learned on Friday.

There will be lots of tools and materials available for you to make the components that best express your ideas and intentions for creating balance in your artist’s life.

This is a wonderfully social way to create artwork and to get to know and enjoy your fellow students.

You may want to book a massage at the spa, take a Shopping break, go off premises for lunch. Do whatever your heart desires - as long as you put in enough studio time to complete your chain to your own satisfaction.

Instructors will be out of the studio 11:30 am -1:00 pm for lunch and 5:30 - 7pm for dinner. We will have a studio moderator during those hours and you can stay and do your artwork if you wish, but questions and guidance will have to wait for our return.
