| We found out that Christine was on to something good: Stazon Inks and Sharpies Permanent Markers make a dynamite combination on tumbled marble tiles (found at home improvement stores).
The tiles we had around were pretty “tumbled” indeed - distressed might be a better word. So we decided that rustic subject matter was the only way to go. We pulled out our First Americans Symbols Stamps and the Corn Petroglyph Stamp and created these three “Scenes from a Village” - based loosely on the type of illustrations found in the picture writing of the Cheyenne people. The Sharpies did not cause the Stazon ink to run and they both dried permanent and waterproof so these tiles can be used as coasters if desired. A big “tumble” mark on one tile ran right through our rainstorm symbol, so we had to make it look like the lightning did it! |

| Like a brainstorm but without the gestalt.
Brain rain is more like a stream-of-conscious downpour of small ideas and bits of spontaneous intelligence - related but separate and in need of connective thought. We know you’ve had the experience. Now you know what to call it. |

| Everybody who knows me, knows how much I adore my camera.
Perhaps because I can get results like you see here. It’s true that I know a bit about lighting and such things, but this little camera enables even first time photographers to get results that make their hearts sing. I should own stock in Olympus because I have talked at least a hundred artists into purchasing this awesome camera - the Camedia C-750, at prices around $450, which haven’t fallen much over the past year. |

| However, I was just on the Sam's Club website and they have the Camedia C-765 (same camera new name) for $386 and change - with free shipping. It is my understanding that Costco also has that model at a similar price.
Here is the Sam's Club Link: http://tinyurl.com/59zxs All the particulars about the camera are there too, but basically, it is small, lightweight, easy-to-use, and has more bells and whistles than you will get around to even reading about for a very long time. And I even dropped mine off the roof of my van (temporary tripod), and aside from a dent, it seems to have made no difference. I love it and I’m pretty sure you will too. |
