What To Do: |

| Step 1. Cut the flower prints from the Sheer Heaven sheet. Cut a piece of the 300lb Hot Press Watercolor paper just a little wider than the printed strip. Height doesn’t matter. |

| Step 2. Trim each flower print closely on three sides, leaving at least a 1/4" margin on one side to use as a handle (to keep your fingers out of the ink). This is a tip we use with all our alcohol transfers. |

| Step 3. Using the Sheer Heaven Alcohol Transfer method, transfer each flower print to the watercolor paper. If you are not familiar with this transfer process, see Whatever...Whenever, Issue 6. Save those “after transfer” pieces of Sheer Heaven to make some “Rustie Dusties” (see Whatever...Whenever Issue 8). |

Step 4. Cut out the transferred images. Use Sharpie markers to color the edges for a more finished look. |

Step 5. We applied Golden Clear Tar Gel (top right) very thickly and set the piece on an even surface to dry overnight. Tar Gel is self-leveling. Air bubbles are easy to get rid of with the tip of a craft knife while it’s still wet. Like many acrylic products, Clear Tar Gel dries with a slightly tacky surface. We apply a quick coat of Future Floor Polish with a make-up sponge to seal and enhance the shine. We used Diamond Glaze on our second image, but we can never seem to get rid of all the air bubbles with this type of product. |

| And, finally, we embossed with UTEE on the third piece. Taping a craft stick to the back as a handle really helped keep nice edges.
Attach a pinback and you’re done! |
