Last issue, we teased you by showing you some Virtual Rubber Stamps, and tortured lots of you by including some on the Virtual Stamping 101 CD, so you could actually play with them. I think we drove some of you over the edge because we have gotten lots of email of the “are we there yet?” variety. Well, we’re here. We’ve got the bugs ironed out for Download and are all set up to burn custom CDs. This represents a paradigm shift in how you purchase images for use in your art, and we are very excited. How are Virtual Stamps different from traditional rubber stamps? They are “fluid”. You are not stuck with a certain size or orientation. You can resize and flip around - even without special software - as a part of the choices of most Print commands. Most of these images are in outline form - great open spaces for painting and coloring with any media (even digitally). But you can easily make them solids in PhotoShop or Elements if you want to. There is a much broader scope in type of image. Fine halftones (photo-like images) can be Virtual Stamps, where in rubber, they had to be translated into very coarse dots and used with dye ink. Because we don’t need to commit to making an expensive magnesium plate to produce an image, we are free to offer all the variations of an idea that come to mind - or you can make those variations yourself. Our “Hug” series (right) will have many variations, for example. |

| We first converted our popular Petroglyph collection to Virtual Rubber turning most of the images into outlines in the process. This is Kokopelli, the flute player. | ||||||||||||||||

| And we are adding lots of brand new designs that have never seen rubber, like this one, titled “EarthHug” which is great for coloring by any means. Note: Blue Copyright symbols are not visible on the images you purchase. They are only to protect from pirates.. | ||||||||||||||||

And, even though a Virtual Stamp can’t impress clay, or be used to heat emboss, our extremely liberal usage rights even allow you to make a single custom rubber stamp for your own use from our images - after you make them the perfect size, etc. for your purposes, of course! Storage and organization are a non-issue with Virtual Stamps. They can be stored right in your computer in labeled folders so you know where they are. And, of course, there is always a back-up copy on your CD if you buy them that way. Or if you burn a CD of your Download purchases. And, you’ve never been able to have a rubber stamp image instantly when you want it - except when you are at a stamp store or convention - but Virtual Stamps are available for immediate download - 24/7. And the very best difference of all might be price. For the sake of convenience, we have decided to price all our Virtual Stamps at $3.50. Large, small, complicated or simple, you get all those usage rights for $3.50. That’s enough reasons to have a look, don’t you think? The collection is small to begin with, because we’ve had so much going on - but it will be growing weekly - or even daily, as we convert our existing stamp catalog - and add lots of new images, templates, and ideas. Click on any of the images on this page to explore thecategories available so far. Click the Digital Art Supplies Window on our home page for all the additional info you need. |

| We love this old mailbox - drawn from a photo we took in California awhile ago. The photograph itself will be on the upcoming “You’ve Got Mail” Art Safe CD. The mailbox is a cool faded blue in real life. | ||||||||||||||||
