There will be a Table of Contents in the front which many readers have asked for, and page turning arrows will be located at the top right of every page so you won’t have to scroll down just to turn pages. Printing from the web browser will still be as it has been, however, because there is nothing we can do about that . . .
However, if you have a high speed internet connection, you will have the choice to download a PDF Version of the magazine and read/print it on your own desktop at your leisure. Each magazine will weigh about 4 megs or less and take 3-5 minutes to download on most high speed connections. You must have Adobe Reader Version 6.0 or later for all the live links to work from your desktop.
If you do not have a high speed connection, you willl be able to read Now What? online exactly as you have in the past. Subscribers will be emailed a link to the magazine page.
How much will it cost?
Four issues, published quarterly (Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer) will cost $20. At any point during the subscription year that you subscribe, you will have access to all issues of that subscription year - including any you may have missed. All subscriptions will be renewable at the same time each year.
When will the subscription start?
This is a very big committment which I am not willing to make without a certain number of subscriptions. If that number is reached by October 15, the Fall 2005 issue will be published in November - full of lots of great transfer projects, an easy new bookbinding technique, and lots of other wonderful stuff. If the number is not reached by October 15, I will have to suspend publication of Now What? for the foreseeable future. No subscription orders will be charged or processed until my number is reached - so you will not pay unless it’s a go.
Will the eight back issues of Now What? still be free?
The eight free issues currently on the website will remain as they are and be accessible to everyone at no charge. In addition, they will soon be published on CD as PDF files for those who would rather own them in an easier to use format (much easier to print also).

Now What? Subscription
Your order will not be processed until we know there will be a subscription year. If you include other things in your order (like the Subscriber Special for instance), they will be processed and shipped right away. Only the Subscription part will be held.
Have I ever mentioned what fun it is to play with the titles of these publications? Headlines like the one above just make my day! I feel a little like Abbott & Costello!
