This question has probably generated more email than any other topic we’ve ever discussed.

Subscription sign-ups started out slowly during that first two week period, and there was a time when I thought we would be retiring our big magazine. But, subscriptions kept coming in. And, we were slowly learning that maybe half of our mailing list had never gotten the last newsletter announcing that Now What? would become a subscription magazine. So, we have decided, with great excitement, to continue to publish Now What? Magazine.

Get ready for Now What? 2006
Four issues, published quarterly (January 15, April 15, July 15, October 15) will cost $20. At any point during the subscription year that you subscribe, you will have access to all issues of that subscription year - including any you may have missed. All subscriptions will be renewable at the same time each year. Each Issue will also be available at a per issue price of $8.50. Obviously, the subscription is a much more affordable way to go.

Now What? will be published as an online magazine as it always has been, but a PDF version will also be available for download, which will be relatively painless if you have high-speed. Those on dial-up will probably prefer to read Now What? online.

Subscribers will be notified by email of the Link through which they can access each issue.

Now What? Subscription
We have had a wonderful time with our 2005 Amuseings “interactive art journal” publication. It was an experiment and a very successful one which everyone enjoyed.

Due to time constraints, Amuseings will now become a part of Now What?, in much the same way the Melange section is a part of the Somerset Studio magazine. We will continue to have fun thinking about and experimenting with creative ideas as we have been, while surrounded by all the wonderful step-by-step projects that NowWhat? is famous for. It will be a great year!

Our free subscriber list just grew and grew. There was a time when we had to switch from AOL address books to a bigger and better subscription list program. We thought we were good to go for awhile.

But, after we passed the 5000 mark, our list started to destroy itself - quietly at first - and by the time we added another thousand - with a pretty big bang. People were not able to sign-up any more and many subscribers were not getting their publication notices.

So, we have now installed a “big daddy” program which should do the job for us. We rescued as much of the old list as we could, but know that some email addresses may have been lost along the way.

If you did not get an email notification of this Issue of Whatever, you need to resubscribe. It’s very easy.
